The city of Aberdeen saw an increase in the number of calls Aberdeen PD received. A-P-D Chief Dale Green recently told the city council the department had just over 34,900 calls for services in 2022, an increase of just over 6 % from the previous year. The city saw an increase of 8 % over reported crimes from the previous year, but Aberdeen was number one in Washington in its category for clearing cases. There was a reduction in residential burglaries last year but the numbers show there was an increase in commercial break ins.
