The City of Montesano has an open council seat it needs to fill. The city has posted that council position #6 is open, with a term that runs through the end of the calendar year, 2025. Interested candidates must be a registered voter who has lived in Montesano for at least one year. The council meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening, and anyone interested must submit a letter of interest to the city by February 16th.
