A 15-year-old boy was hit by that pickup truck at Emerson Avenue and Jefferson Street Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. The middle-aged driver briefly stopped to speak with the boy, who initially said he was fine but later required hospitalization. The driver has now contacted officers, and police are thanking the public for their assistance. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
