East Grays Harbor Fire and Rescue handled 173 calls in April, including 133 medical emergencies and 40 fire or service calls. According to the department, 31% of those calls overlapped, putting extra pressure on crews. In 25 instances, two calls came in at the same time, and once, three calls overlapped.
