Grays Harbor’s unemployment rate dropped to under 6 percent for the month of September. The percentage of people without a job in the county fell from 6.5 percent in August to 5.8 percent last month. Even though that’s the lowest rate for September since 2018, Grays Harbor County still has the third highest unemployment rate in the state. Pacific County has the 2nd highest rate at 6.8 percent.
