The Grays Harbor man who crashed a car off a bridge in Ocean Shores during a police chase in November of 2023 is now pleading guilty in federal court. Prosecutors say 38-year-old Gabriel Armas smuggled heroin into a detention center, where his cellmate later died of an overdose. He’s set for sentencing in December and faces at least 10 years behind bars after admitting he sold heroin to other inmates.
