A wanted fugitive is back in custody after a K9 unit tracked him down during a Thursday morning manhunt in Humptulips. Deputies, working with the Department of Corrections, were trying to arrest the man on a felony warrant for escape from community custody tied to a sex offender registration case. When the suspect ran from a parked car, K9 Behr and Sgt. Gay tracked him into thick brush, where he was found hiding behind a stump. The man was arrested without incident and turned over to DOC
