The Hoquiam Police Department is reminding o you to save the date for this year’s National Night Out. Public Officials, Police officers, firefighters and Crime Watch volunteers from Hoquiam will drop in at each block party to visit and talk about important crime prevention and general safety tips. McGruff also makes it to each of the parties. This year’s event will be on Tuesday August 6th from 6-9pm. This is the 41st year for the event aimed at bringing communities closer with law enforcement and Hoquiam has made it an annual tradition for many years.
