To improve evacuation planning and communication during emergencies.
The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency has partnered with Genasys Protect to improve evacuation planning and communication during emergencies. Genasys Protect is a free tool that lets residents search their address to get real-time updates on evacuation routes and hazards. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices and helps first responders coordinate safer, faster evacuations. PCEMA encourages all residents to download the app and be prepared before disaster strikes.
