A bicyclist had to be airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a car in Pacific County Sunday.
A bicyclist had to be airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a car in Pacific County Sunday. Washington State Patrol reports the crash happened on State Route 103 Sunday night when the cyclist was hit from behind by an SUV. The man on the bike was thrown to the shoulder and troopers say he was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the SUV was not hurt, and alcohol did not appear to have been a factor. The State Patrol listed the cause of the wreck as the bicycle not having proper lights. The condition of the cyclist is unknown.
