City of Ocean Shores To Reopen Green Waste Collection Center

From April 5 to September 27.

The City of Ocean Shores will reopen its Green Waste Collection Center from April 5 to September 27, 2025, providing residents a dedicated space to dispose of yard waste, canal weeds, and brush clippings under 8 inches. The center will operate on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Collections Yard, at 149 Canal Dr SE. items that will not be accepted include manufactured wood, pressure-treated wood, and noxious weeds. The city is encouraging all residents to take part in this program meant to help maintain a cleaner, greener community.
