A DNR Incident management team has been brought in to oversee the Chinook Fire in Pacific County. The fire that started before noon last Tuesday is now about 139 acres in size and said to be 43 percent contained at last check. Crews are fighting the fire from the ground and in the air. So far there are no evacuations or closures being ordered. Another update should be out this morning.
