Except in health and isolation rooms
The Hoquiam School District says in staying with state guidelines, starting today masks will be optional except in health and isolation rooms. The guidelines go on to state that after returning to school from a positive COVID test after 5 days, those individuals will still have to mask up for an additional 5 days while on campus. The district adds that the Grays Harbor Public Health Department could also require masks again if there is a local COVID outbreak. The district says they will still offer COVID testing daily at the middle school. You can see the full COVID policy state at the districts website.
