Town leaders say Joy Iverson from district 5 has resigned her seat.

The McCleary city council is looking for another member. Town leaders say Joy Iverson from district 5 has resigned her seat. It’s the 2nd resignation since August. If you are interested in serving on the McCleary City council, and you have lived in town for at least a year and are a registered voter, you can send in a letter of interest. The chosen candidate will serve out the remainder of the term, until December of 2025. Anyone who would like to apply can contact the city treasurer’s office. All applications must be in by October 31st.
