It was announced this week that Marissa Aube has resigned from her ward 4 seat. The mayor says that the councilwoman resigned because her work schedule was preventing her from making meetings on a regular basis. For the next three weeks the city will accept letters of interests, along with resumes from qualified residents in ward 4. The city council will review the letters and hopes to make an appointment at the September 14th regular meeting. Marrisa Aube was elected to the ward 4 seat in 2021.
