This weekend the 2022 statewide trout derby signals the official start of trout season in Washington state. Fish and Wildlife officials say they’ve stocked lakes in Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties over the winter for what is set to be one of the best fishing seasons ever. State officials say since the end of last month, 5,300 trout have been stocked in Grays Harbor and 7,700 fish were stocked in Pacific County.
