Joint City of Ocean Shores/SAR Clam and Veterans Bench Unveiling

The City of Ocean Shores was once graced by the sculpture of a giant clam as its hallmark. Long since placed in City storage, the Giant Clam will be unveiled in a joint SAR/City of Ocean Shores ceremony at the entry to the beaches of Ocean Shores (to the left of the Shiloh Inn), at which the Clam and an SAR bench honoring the men and women of Ocean Shores who served in in the Armed Forces of the United States will be presented to the public. The event will be broadly publicized by the City of Ocean Shores, and presided over by the Mayor of Ocean Shores and the President of the Washington SAR.
