At a joint ceremony, the City of Hoquiam and the Sons of the American Revolution will dedicate the Hoquiam Liberty Tree.

The Mayor of Hoquiam and he Washington President of the Sons of the American Revolution will oversee the first ever Liberty Tree Dedication in the City of Hoquiam. Designated the "Hoquiam Liberty Tree", a traditional elm tree will be dedicated, along with a plaque honoring the men and women of Hoquiam who served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
The event will take place at the City Parcel at the corner of K Street and Emerson Avenue (State Route 109).
