Officials in the Olympic National Forrest will close off 6 gates today for the season. The closures will be on the south side of the forest and happen every winter through an agreement between the fish and wildlife dept. and the forest. The road access beyond the gate closure will not be accessible by vehicles until May 1st of next year. Hikers and mountain bikers will still be able to access the area.
