A candlelight vigil was held last night at Sam Benn Park in Aberdeen as law enforcement agencies across Grays Harbor County continue investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy.
The child, identified by a Seattle television station as Aiden Scott Bevins, was recently found in the backyard of a family member’s home. The Grays Harbor County Coroner’s Office has only confirmed that Aiden’s name appears in its case log.
Officials say an autopsy has been completed, but the coroner noted it could take several months before final findings are released.
The Aberdeen Police Department has stated that the investigation remains its top priority as authorities continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
