A local woman is lucky to be alive after accidentally running her car off the road and into the river Friday morning.
A local woman is lucky to be alive after accidentally running her car off the road and into the river Friday morning. The Daily World says the call came in just before 11am for a woman driving northbound on Roosevelt Street just past the cemetery and ran off into the Wishkah River. By the time first responders arrived the woman was getting herself out of the car. Fire and EMS sent down a ladder so the woman could get back up the steep embankment. No word as to what caused the crash.
