As expected, gasoline prices in Washington State ticked up slightly as we start the busiest travel day of the year yesterday. Statewide gas rose by three cents this week to an even $4-00 per gallon, but we can be thankful it’s not last year, when gas prices were 39 cents higher than today. In Grays Harbor, regular gasoline is averaging $4-06 per gallon while in Pacific County, the average is $4-38 per gallon. If you’re heading out on the highway this weekend, gas prices in Olympia, are running about $3-94 per gallon while in Seattle, the average for a gallon of gas is a whopping $4-21 per gallon.
