The Giving Tree is back this year in the Aberdeen Police Department's lobby with special ornaments on it. The ornaments have a child's needs/likes written on them. Residents are invited to take an ornament, purchase the item listed, and bring the unwrapped gift back to the Aberdeen Police Department by December 15th. The gifts will then be wrapped and delivered to the families before Christmas. The Aberdeen police department says this year, thanks to the generosity of the firefighters union, the police guild, and the supportive community, they are able to help an additional 6 families this year.
