Grays Harbor Levy Update

Voters around Grays Harbor are mostly saying yes to local money measures.

Voters around Grays Harbor are mostly saying yes to local money measures, at least so far. Montesano's Proposition 1 public services levy, which helps pay for round-the-clock fire and EMS staffing, is passing with about 52 percent. Fire District 2's levy is getting about 59 percent, and the Timberland library levy is passing across the district. But the exception is the McCleary School District bond, which is stuck around 53 percent. School bonds need a super majority of 60 percent to pass in Washington.
