The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Department has released their snapshot of calls received for the month of August. There were 23 theft calls, 11 burglary calls and 6 vehicle thefts. There were 1,992 total calls answered last month, with deputies averaging 64 calls per day. While releasing this data, Undersheriff Kevin Schrader added that during the month of August the Sheriff's Office was able to make several arrests of subjects suspected of committing several burglaries in Grays Harbor County. Most of these subjects are in custody and hopes are that crime continues to decrease.
