An informational open house for the Lower Chehalis River Resilience Study is planned for next week. The event that’s hosted by the Grays Harbor and Pacific Conversation Districts aims to allow community members to review initial data collected around flood and erosion risks, infrastructure, and salmon habitat analysis. Officials also want to hear from you on how you currently use the river and your ideas for managing the river and floodplain in the future. The open house will be next Thursday, March 28th from 4-7pm at the Olympic View Grange in Montesano and you are invited to stop by anytime during the event.
