The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency has transitioned from Hyper-Reach to Genasys Alert.

Pacific County has a new emergency notification system. The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency has transitioned from Hyper-Reach to Genasys Alert, which provides real-time warnings about emergencies and other hazards. Officials say the change should be seamless for current users, but residents are encouraged to register or download the Genasys Protect app. A test of the new system is planned for next week, and the county is asking users to provide feedback afterward.
