A man violently attacks a bicyclist in Aberdeen last weekend for no apparent reason. A press release says Saturday evening around 7 Aberdeen police responded to a call about a man who was punching and kicking a cyclist. When officers went to arrest the suspect, the man kicked an officer as he was being put in a patrol unit. The suspect then headbutted and smashed out the window of the police cruiser. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was checked out and released. The suspect was arrested on several assault charges. At last check the man gave no reason for the attack.
