State Route 8 Elma Rest Stop Will Close On Monday

WSDOT crew will close the rest area at 5pm Monday November 4th for work on the water and well system.

A reminder that the State Route 8 Elma Rest Stop will close on Monday for a month-long project. WSDOT crew will close the rest area at 5pm Monday November 4th for work on the water and well system. The next available rest area during this closure will be about 30 miles away along I-5 in Thurston County. The Elma Rest area is scheduled to reopen to the public by Friday November 22nd. You can always go online or check the WSDOT app for updates and traffic congestion.
