LifeWise Health Plan of Washington submitted the request to the state office of insurance commissioners.

A Washington health insurance company has been approved for an almost 25 percent rate increase next
year. LifeWise Health Plan of Washington submitted the request to the state office of insurance
commissioners. Back in May. The request was for an increase for all its group and individual plans for
2023. The company cited an estimated increase in healthcare cost of just over 7.8 percent next year for
the increase. The company did provide any information about possible changes in coverage for next
year.
