It’s expected that the board will act on filling the superintendent position at today’s meeting.
The Aberdeen school board will reconvene today after the two finalists for the superintendent position interviewed with board members this week. Dr. Jeffrey Thake spent yesterday touring the district, talking with staff, students, and the community before being interviewed by board members last night. Nikki Grubbs spent the day with the district this past Tuesday. At the conclusion of last night’s interview, the board recessed their special meeting until 10am this morning. It’s expected that the board will act on filling the superintendent position at today’s meeting. That meeting will be open to the public online with a link posted on the district’s website.
