County officials say It takes everyone's effort to reduce appliance abandonment along county roads. This free drop off event is being sponsored by the Pacific County Department of Community Development for residents who would like to take advantage of this free opportunity to properly dispose of their old appliances. The Long Beach drop off location is at the Pacific Solid Waste Transfer Station from 9-3 while the Royal Height’s Transfer Station in Raymond will accept used appliances from 10-2pm.
