The unemployment rate fell in both Grays Harbor and pacific counties last month, but both are still in the top 10 of highest unemployment rates in Washington state. Grays Harbor dropped from 9.2 percent of the workforce unemployed in February to 7.7 percent last month. Meanwhile Pacific County went from an 8.4 percent unemployment rate two months ago to 6.8 percent in March. The statewide unemployment rate for March dropped slightly to 4.5 percent while the US unemployment rate is at 3.5 percent.
