A family is lucky to be alive after a house fire in Aberdeen. Firefighters were called out to the home on Washington Street Monday night just after 8pm. It took 19 firefighters from Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Cosmopolis more than 2 hours to extinguish the blaze. Although a cause is still being investigated, three people who were inside the home at the time of the fire said it began in the kitchen and quickly spread. No civilians or firefighters were injured.
