Shelter coordinator Scott McDougall emphasized the need for more volunteers to sustain the program, which is partially staffed by the Pacific County Emergency Management Agency. Community members interested in helping are encouraged to contact the Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce to learn how to get involved.
