The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be holding an open house this month to get your thoughts on the proposed North Shore Levee project. The 6.2 miles of levee will be built to protect more than 3,000 properties from flooding in both Aberdeen and Hoquiam. The public is invited to the Rotary Log Pavillion on November 14th to give in person public comments and hear from FEMA experts on the proposed levee. There’s also a virtual open house where community members can leave online comments. A link to that is on our website. https://www.ezview.wa.gov/?alias=1775&pageid=34768
