Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott to retire.
Another law enforcement official in Grays Harbor is retiring. Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott has announced he will not seek another term and will retire at the end of the year. Scott, who started with the Sheriff’s department in 1977, has spent his entire career with Grays Harbor County. He was appointed sheriff in 2012 after then sheriff Whelan retired. Scott then won election in 2014. Sheriff Scott has endorsed Chief of the Investigations Division, Darrin Wallace, who has announced his intention to run for the seat.
