A project to upgrade traffic lights and make pedestrian improvements on US 101 in south Aberdeen is scheduled to get started on Monday. Drivers on that stretch of 101 will see a combination of one lane in each direction or one-lane alternating traffic, controlled by a flagger. The single-lane closures is expected to bring up to 15-minute delays. In Westport on State Route 105, crews will alternate one-direction of traffic at a time during working hours. Most of the work will take place during the day and the total project will last into the Fall.
