Citing serious health, safety, and code violations, the city has shut down the Shilo Inns Ocean Shores until further notice.

Citing serious health, safety, and code violations, the city has shut down the Shilo Inns Ocean Shores until further notice. Inspectors reported unsanitary plumbing, no running water, and fire hazards during a July 29 visit, along with unpaid utility bills. Owner Mark Hemstreet told The Daily World the company moved quickly to address a propane leak and is awaiting city permits to begin repairs.
