Today is the beginning of filing week across Washington state, where candidates officially declare their intention to run for a variety of municipal , school, or county supported elected position. In Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties there are dozens of races that will be on the ballot this year. Grays Harbor election officials highly recommend that when filing for office, you provide a campaign mailing address, telephone number, and website. If you do not provide a campaign mailing address, your voter registration mailing address will be published online in the list of candidates who have filed. Although filing directly at the county office is available all week, county election officials predict the vast majority of candidates will file online. The deadline to file is this Friday.
