A garage fire sent crews rushing to the 100 block of Schafer Meadows Lane South near Montesano yesterday evening. Firefighters faced delays getting equipment in due to a bridge that couldn’t handle the weight of larger rigs. One engine made it across and crews began attacking the flames from there.
