66 Hoquiam High School students are in California this week performing at the happiest place on Earth. These members of the band, choir, cheer and color guard will be performing in downtown Disney Land after being accepted from auditions that took place last fall. These students will also get a tour of Universal Studios, watch a performance of the L.A. Philharmonics, and take part in a music clinic with professional feedback from Professors at California State University. The students were able to fundraise $140,000 for the trip so, regardless of financial status, any student in the group who wanted to go, could. The performance on Main street in Disney Land will be tomorrow with other events taking place throughout the week.
