Pacific County Fire District #1 New Training Facility

The 13-acre property gives crews room to practice everything from fire suppression and hazardous materials response to vehicle rescues and multi-company drills.

After almost ten years in the making, Pacific County Fire District #1 is finally putting its new training facility to use. The 13-acre property gives crews room to practice everything from fire suppression and hazardous materials response to vehicle rescues and multi-company drills. District leaders say the project only came together thanks to the support of local businesses, contractors, and community members who pitched in along the way. They believe the site will be a game-changer for firefighter training on the peninsula.
