Local agencies are recognizing the volunteers that help make this community a better place.
This week is national Volunteer week and local agencies are recognizing the volunteers that help make this community a better place. The Aberdeen Police Department would like to thank the Police Explorers for all they do volunteering for the department and the citizens of Aberdeen. The explorers meet once a week for training and in 2021 completed 1,100 hours in volunteering and training. The next recruitment event will be in August for anyone interest in joining the group.
