Montesano Police say two men have been arrested for stealing metal during this weekend’s Festival of Lights. According to investigators, during the parade Saturday, two men accessed a business by kayaking down the river and coming from the back of the property. When police arrived on scene, the men took off on the kayaks. Law enforcement was able to find where the men hid their vehicle. When the suspects thought the cops were gone, they went back to their vehicle and were taken into custody by police who were waiting nearby.
