2 People Found Dead Near Wynoochee Valley Road

A call came to 9-1-1 shortly after midnight about gunfire just off Wynoochee Valley Road near Fern Lane.

Two people found shot to death early Wednesday morning by Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s deputies. A call came to 9-1-1 shortly after midnight about gunfire just off Wynoochee Valley Road near Fern Lane. When deputies arrived, they saw two vehicles and discovered a woman in one, dead of an apparent gunshot wound. Deputies then found a man in the second vehicle, also dead of an apparent gunshot wound. A handgun was found at the scene. The investigation is still ongoing, but the sheriff’s department did say detectives are confident this was an isolated incident.
