WSDOT says to expect a 23-mile detour next month when crews shut down a 2 mile stretch of 101 north of Hoquiam to remove fish barriers. The closure will be from Failor Lake Road to Larson Brothers Road and is scheduled from the night of Sunday July 9th until Monday July 31st. The detours will be marked. State officials say the work is a part of a larger project to remove fish barriers in a three-county area and that construction work for the entire project will run through 2026.
