Aberdeen Residents Can Now Allows First Responders Access In Case Of Emergency

Aberdeen residents who may have trouble answering the door in an emergency now have a secure way to allow police and fire personnel access to their homes.

Aberdeen residents who may have trouble answering the door in an emergency now have a secure way to allow police and fire personnel access to their homes. In partnership with the Grays Harbor Community Foundation Community Building Grants program, qualifying residents can have a free combination key safe for the outside of their home. The resident would choose the combination along with the location of the box, and that information would be stored on a secure database. If fire or police are ever needed, they can retrieve the code and location and gain access to a home fast without causing any damage.
