The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is warning of another fake law enforcement phone scam. The Scammer calls pretending to be from Mason County or nearby law enforcement agencies trying to scare the victim into paying money by telling them have a warrant our for their arrest and must pay money to make it go away. Officials say if you get a call like this to hang up, and then call the Mason County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number to report the incident.
