The City of Aberdeen is inviting residents to attend two upcoming Town Hall meetings designed to foster open communication, share important city updates, and hear directly from the community.

The City of Aberdeen is inviting residents to attend two upcoming Town Hall meetings designed to foster open communication, share important city updates, and hear directly from the community.

Elected City leaders will be on hand to answer questions, listen to concerns, and gather feedback from attendees. The meetings will also feature a brief presentation from Aberdeen School District Superintendents Traci Sandstrom and Lynn Greene, who will provide an update on the district’s Seismic Project before the Town Hall sessions begin.

To ensure meaningful discussions, each meeting will focus on specific wards:

  • Town Hall Meeting #1 – Wards 4, 5 & 6
    Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2026
    Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Robert Gray Elementary, 1516 N. B Street

  • Town Hall Meeting #2 – Wards 1, 2 & 3
    Date: Wednesday, May 20, 2026
    Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Miller Jr. High, 100 E. Lindstrom

While each meeting is intended for residents of specific wards, all residents are welcome to attend either session.

“These Town Hall meetings are an important opportunity for us to connect directly with residents and hear their perspectives on life in our city,” said City Council President Sydney Swor. “We want to work with our community to build a strong future for Aberdeen.”

Residents are encouraged to attend and engage in the conversation. The City values public input and looks forward to addressing the issues that matter most to the community.
